Rise above the #BS in life and start actually living.
Every day we have a choice in how we respond to what is happening in the world around us. Some days are breezy and some are not pretty.
You know the ones where you wake up and from the second you get up the shit hits the fan!!!
I have known those days too well in my past. The coffee goes cold, the toast is burnt and after you have just rushed around like crazy getting ready, about to jump in your car, look at your phone and realise…today is tuesday not wednesday!!!
Argh what else can go wrong!!!
If it isn’t your tiredness or lack of concentration it’s the conversation you had with a friend or colleague that took your words the wrong way and is now totally pissed at you for your lack of compassion or empathy.
When you are not living a life on purpose, happy and inspired life is a constant struggle. Yes we all have chores to do and we have commitments like every other person but how you design your life today, tomorrow or next week determines the outcome of your day.
If your current routine is not working for you and you find yourself constantly in struggle land then it is a BIG WAKE UP CALL to start changing something because all of this undue stress and struggle is causing you to be unhappy, resentful and generally a cranky person that wakes up saying this every morning…”OMG another day…how am I going to cope”
Well for starters…you have to shift that mindset. If you wake up every day feeling like crap then how will that affect your day?
Start by looking at all the things that DON’T WORK FOR YOU!
We are all different. What may work for someone else may not be working for you so stop doing it.
Look at what is not a pain and struggle and find the courage to say NO to everything that feels like its a challenge and start focusing on and asking for the things that make you feel happy and inspired.
The only LIMITATION is the one that is sitting in your mind telling you that you can’t change this.
EXCUSES will live in your mind and fester like an old dish rag if you do not clear them.
Take a load off. Sit down at your local coffee shop and treat yourself to a cuppa. Bring pen and paper and start making a list of all the things that you are doing that are time wasting uninspiring challenges that you are ready to kick to the curb.
Then make a new list of how you want your day to go and remember….YOU CAN CHANGE THIS LIST as you go along because nothing is set in stone.
You have to make the decision to change your life to be happy. No one else can do that for you.
Stop the excuses, RISE above the #BS and SHINE!
